100 Women

A giving circle comprised of women who care about the physical and mental health of our youth.

We are…

  • 100 Women for Strong Communities
  • 100 Women for Healthy, Happy & Safe Kids
  • 100 Women for Prevention Education
  • 100 Women for the Robert Crown Center

We are 100 Women for the Robert Crown Center.

100 Women for the Robert Crown Center is a group of women who care about the future of Chicagoland children and youth. They show this by investing in prevention education. They do this by participating in a quarterly giving circle wherein each woman commits a gift of $100 quarterly: July 2016 – June 2017 for a total of $400 over the course of the school year.

100 Women affect change by investing in prevention education that will help children:

  • learn the facts about the human brain and the consequences alcohol and drug use
  • start talking about sensitive topics, like sex, with parents or trusted adults
  • develop positive attitudes about their bodies
  • practice strategies for avoiding risky behaviors

The funds raised by 100 Women for the Robert Crown Center will directly impact a variety of organizational programs and operational needs by funding projects such as: updating the content of puberty program materials, ensuring the delivery of health education in low-income schools, implementing heroin prevention curriculum in area middle or high schools, training RCC staff, or providing scholarships to under-served kids.

This investment in the Robert Crown Center provides critical, timely information and skill building to help prepare youth so that they can make informed decisions that will directly impact their future.
