RCC’s Reed Hruby Heroin Prevention Project aims to create education and prevention initiatives that will reduce the incidence of teens and young adults initiating heroin use. As part of that effort, RCC contracted with Roosevelt University’s Illinois Consortium on Drug Policy to conduct a research project identifying some of the factors surrounding young people’s use of heroin, and the gaps that exist in the community’s knowledge about heroin. This research will inform the Robert Crown Center’s educational response to the suburban heroin crisis:
